Chain Gang: the daily football connection game

Chain Gang is a free daily football trivia puzzle. You are given two NFL players and have to connect them through the teams, jersey numbers and colleges that real players share. Short chains built from colleges and numbers score highest; leaning on team links scores lower.

How it works

Pick a link from the Start player, name a different player who shares it, and repeat until you reach the goal player. Each exact link can be used once per game. College and number links are worth 100, team links 60, and hints and wrong guesses cost points. A new Daily puzzle appears every day at midnight Eastern, and Freeplay and the Archive let you keep playing.
